Holding thoughts

I had a long day today. I have a client visit for the past 3 days and while I was engaged with entertaining our client, I recieved a note from EVA Air that my flight got canceled. I had to research what happened and found out that there was a strike happening in Taiwan right now and it affected a lot of flights for the past few days and still ongoing. I was panicking on top of the work stress and prepping for Sunday’s graduation ceremony. But after our guest left. I calmed down and did some reading on and called the local office of the Airline. They have assisted me with rebooking my flight on a later time and that helped resolve things. I am just flying in 4 hours later than my previous schedule.

It gave me some thought that it’s normal to panic on situations like that but taking control of your emotions and thinking how the situation can be addressed is crucial. I’m just glad that it was resolved quickly.

Can’t wait for next week. I need the long vacation 😁
